HGV Class 1 Driver

Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to help support our busy customer in the Telford area. Our customer will be looking for someone to be able to start immediately and have up to x5 drivers available on an ongoing basis. To be a successful HGV Class 1 Driver for this role you will require:

• UK Category C+E license for minimum 1 years
• Minimum of 6 months UK driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Good level of communication
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Flexible working attitude

The role for an HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Safely load, transport, and deliver palletised goods to designated locations.
• Perform pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers regarding delivery status.
• Complete all required paperwork, including delivery notes and timesheets.
• Ensure the security of goods in transit and report any incidents or issues.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service during deliveries.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Days = 16

Shifts;

• 05:00 till 07:00 and 14:00 till 17:00 shifts start times
• Average 12-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday available
