We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Reach Forklift Operator to join our clients dynamic and busy team on a permanent basis. If you have a passion for precision and safety in warehouse operations, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management:Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely, maintaining accurate stock levels through regular stock control and stock taking.
- Order Preparation:Pick and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Documentation:Accurately complete documentation to maintain stock levels and ensure smooth operations.
- Loading and Unloading:Unload containers and incoming deliveries, ensuring timely and safe handling of goods.
- Warehouse Maintenance:Keep the warehouse and floorspace clean and tidy, adhering to safety standards.
- Manual Handling:Engage in physical activities as part of the Warehouse Operative duties, ensuring safe manual handling practices.
Requirements:
- Experience:Recent experience using a reach forklift truck is essential. In-house licenses will be considered.
- Additional Skills:Counterbalance forklift experience is advantageous.
- Physical Fitness:Ability to perform manual handling and physical activities as part of the role.
Working Hours:39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
