About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team based at our Telford Head Office Site.

We're looking for someone with a FLT Counterbalance and Reach license that can move and record goods with a consistent level of accuracy, and a focus on safety. If this sounds like you, read on to find out more.

You will be working a rotating days and nights 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 06:00 - 18:00 / 1800 - 06:00.

Job Opportunity

This Forklift Truck Driver role involves moving goods, ensuring all safety requirements are met. You will be responsible for loading, unloading and transferring products and finished goods.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Operating a forklift truck to load products onto automated wrapper
  • Supplying the production lines with Raw Materials
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards in your area
  • Report any issues with the truck or automated wrappers
  • Unload finished goods from automated wrapper into the warehouse
  • Transfer product from production to external warehouse and complete relevant system transactions
  • Manage the transfer of packing films to the storage location and maintain storage discipline (one product, one location)
  • Load pallets onto the automated robotic palletiser
  • Unload pallet/coreboard deliveries and transfer to allocated storage areas
  • Support production with waste control routines
  • Ensure accurate paperwork is maintained
  • Change wrapping film on automated wrapper
  • Assist with consumables stock checking routines
