Join a Leading Manufacturing in Telford as a Goods in Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver
This well-established manufacturing company in Telford is on the lookout for a dedicated Goods in Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to become an integral part of their dynamic team.
A Full UK Driving License is essential for this role.
This will be working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), and the role comes with an hourly rate of £13.00 per hour (annual salary of just over £30,000 per annum).
The hiring manager is looking for someone that has previous Stores/Stock Controlling experience, is familiar with booking stock in and out on a computer system, and preferably someone that holds a Counterbalance forklift license that can drive the truck on occasions.
What You Will Do:
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck daily, ensuring smooth operations in the yard and factory.
- Engage with customers and assist in the yard, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Perform yard and factory maintenance, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Monitor and meet production requirements, playing a pivotal role in the company's success.
- Book stock in on the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.
- Participate in audits and stock takes, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to quality.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in a similar Goods in Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver role.
- Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse based computer systems.
- Current Counterbalance forklift license (preferred).
- A commitment to adhering to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
