Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers with a minimum of 6 months of experience for a well-established client based in Telford.
Job Description:
- Type of work: Refrigerated units RDC to RDC deliveries and collections (loading and unloading of palletized goods).
- Steady year-round work with consistent shifts.
- Long hours: 12+ hour shifts.
- Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Rates of Pay: PAYE (with holiday pay including).
- Monday to Friday:
- Days: £17.37 / Nights: £18.49 per hour.
- Saturday:
- Days: £20.73 / Nights: £21.85 per hour.
- Sunday:
- Days: £21.85 / Nights: £22.97 per hour.
Additionally, for every hour worked between 14:00 and 20:59, driver will receive an extra £1.45 added to their hourly rate.
Additional Information:
- Assessment is required, lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
- Refrigerated unit driving experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
