Cover Supervisor

Salary:Between 90.00 - 120.00 per day

Dunbar Education is looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team for flexible day-to-day supply work in the Telford area, across a variety of local schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students' learning and development in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Position Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. In secondary schools, you'll engage and motivate students by guiding them through pre-prepared work and lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage for absent teachers by delivering pre-prepared work and lesson plans.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Answer questions and offer guidance to assist students in their educational journey.
  • Adapt to different subjects and year groups, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, offering constructive feedback.
  • Uphold school policies while promoting an inclusive and safe atmosphere.
  • Build strong relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
