THE ROLE:
This role is working for one of our prestigious clients to join their ever expanding team. Our client is looking for a FLT / warehouse operative
Duties include
To ensure all goods in are processed and put away quickly and efficiently while completely all inbound checks correctly.
All outbound loads are completed accurately according to dispatch notes.
Ensure all on site FLT are operated safely in accordance to training including daily, Pre-Use inspections.
Be vigilant and forward thinking with housekeeping and maintain the highest standards to ensure a clean and tidy work environment and push continuous improvement.
Ensure all food safety standards are met.
Good time management to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner whilst also ensuring priorities are met.
To be able to work as part of a team, take instruction but also work off own initiative when required.
Take part in weekly stock takes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
Attention to detail, accuracy and good listening skills.
This role can be physically demanding at times so applicants must be prepared to work as a team and have a flexible approach to assist all departments when/if required. Also be aware that as a warehouse operative you will be working with a chilled environment as well as loading and unloading outside regardless of weather conditions.
