JAM Staffing Solutions is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client in Telford with excellent working conditions and a clean fleet of vehicles.
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of commercial experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles and offers pay rates of £15.50 per hour for day shifts and £17.00 per hour for night shifts.
Drivers must be prepared to work some weekends and have valid HGV Class 1, CPC, and Digi cards, as well as no more than 6 points on their license.
Responsibilities include delivering chilled food products, ensuring paperwork accuracy, and conducting vehicle checks in accordance with legislation.
An immediate start is available following a successful on-site assessment, with average shift lengths of 12 hours.

Delivery of chilled food product to RDC's or trunking between depots

Average shift length 12 hours. Must be prepared to work some weekends.

Various start times all through the day and night.

Requirements

Pay rates (PAYE only)

Resonsibilies will include but not exclusive.
Delivery of chilled / ambient products to RDC / NDC
Ensuring all paperwork is correct and collected
Vehicle checks in line with current legislation, walk around apps and report any damage directly to transport office.
Adhere and follow current WTD and tacho legislation
