R&D Engineer - 3947Term: Permanent, Full Time (Mon-Fri, 39 hours per week)Holiday: 33 days per year, including statutory holidays
We are currently seeking an R&D Engineer for our esteemed client, a leading company in the manufacturing of inspection equipment. With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in the metal and plastics industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching and evaluating new technologies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and report on technologies relevant to current and future developments.
- Conduct testing and generate technical reports for internal and external presentation.
- Produce technical documentation for production systems as required.
Additional Duties:
- Collaborate closely with design, electrical, and software teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Assist the production team with the testing of standard gauging when necessary.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, ideally with a mechanical bias.
- CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with VB, C#, or C++ would be adventurous.
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of dimensional measurement principles.
- Experience in machine vision applications.
- Proficient in detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
