We are always on the lookout for dedicated SEN Support Staff and Teachers to join a dynamic team at a Specialist College for Young People in Oswestry. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional educational support to students with special educational needs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement individualised educational plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and professionals to promote students' educational and social development.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and administration.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus on special education for teaching positions
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
