Package: Up to £35k per annum

Hours: 37.5hrs per week Monday Friday (Early finish on a Friday)

Are you an experienced Planner who is looking for a role with future growth?

Do you have a good understanding of, and experience of working with SAP?

Im working with a well-established, national, multi-site manufacturing business who have some imminent growth plans for their Telford site, so they need to recruit an additional planner to support the manufacturing plant with the extra orders that are now coming through the facility. As they are already leaders in their sector, and have a well-trusted and respected brand, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work in a driven and experienced team in a fast paced, and growing business.

The Production Planner will be responsible for:

• Producing and creating production schedules to support the manufacture of both made to stock and bespoke products
• Updating and maintaining data within the manufacturing intelligence software
• Liaising with production and commercial teams regarding production progress
• Utilising data within SAP to ensure production schedules are effective in-line with customer demand data
• Producing long term and short-term fixed production plans
• Resolving any issues/bottlenecks in production and adjusting plans as necessary to react to any changes

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience with using SAP will be Essential
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Previous experience of Production Planning within a manufacturing business
• Previous experience as Production Planner / Production Controller / Production Scheduler role
• The ability to work well under pressure and be a pragmatic problem solver
