Youll need to be happy using a Mac and know the Adobe Creative Suite like the back of your hand, with a focus on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop ideally, Figma too. Experience in motion design / animation, video editing or web design is a bonus, and they can help you develop in any of these areas if youre interested.
What youll do as Graphic Designer:
Good design is central to everything they do, so as part of the design team youll get involved in a bit of everything. Day-to-day work can vary from crafting brand identities, brochures, websites, and presentations to coming up with (and executing) creative marketing campaigns, all for a diverse range of clients.
They run an informal, flexible working environment where you'll have the ability to develop your strengths, learn new skills and really make the role your own. Theyll supply the latest software, a nice shiny Mac and all the coffee you can drink, plus the occasional pizza.
What were looking for in a Graphic Designer:
Provided you've got a confident portfolio of work they can review, all levels of experience are welcome - though it's preferable if you've previously worked in a commercial/agency environment (aka youre familiar with the joys of being creative on a deadline).
- A strong portfolio of work that shows what youre capable of
- Keen layout and composition skills
- An enthusiastic attitude and a passion for design
- Good time management and organisational skills (for a creative)
- The ability to play nicely with others
- A pair of slippers
