As Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Supervising and managing the team of Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers.
  • Ensuring adequate staff coverage at all times for the efficient and safe running of the home.
  • Identifying and reporting any deficits in care and staff training needs.
  • Providing training to staff as required.
  • Role modelling excellence for staff and acting as a key worker for young people in the home.
  • Ensuring the care and well-being of the young people is maintained at the highest level at all times.
