We are supporting a thriving business in Telford who are looking for a HSE Coordinator to support them with the day-to-day compliance activities relating to their H&S and environmental systems. With both internal and external support, you will play a pivotal role in managing standards, systems and processes. You will be part of a small but tight-knit team who all work together to ensure that the customer experience exceeds expectations.

This is a great opportunity for someone with existing experience within a Health and Safety role to develop their career path within a progressive and friendly company.

The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Oversee the maintenance of company certifications and accreditations, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Support compliance initiatives through effective administrative assistance
  • Work closely with your direct line manager and external consultants to ensure standards are consistently met
  • Generate and submit regular compliance reports, providing updates and improvement suggestions
  • Keep accurate records and ensure compliance documentation is up to date
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, ensuring company policies remain aligned with industry standards

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience within a Health and Safety capacity will be essential
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 9001 systems would be advantageous
  • IOSH / NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with the wider team
