Location: Hortonwood, Telford (office based)

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Flexible working, can choose start and finish time, early finish every Friday. Will be expected to provide occasional support for nightshift

Benefits: Pension, over Statutory Holiday and End of Year Bonus

Skills: CIPD Level 3 or had HR responsibility for at least 12 months

Evolution Foods product a variety of healthy snacking products, these include dried fruit, nut, peanut butter and childrens puree fruit snacks.

Established in the early 00s, the business has grown significantly employing over 300 staff, producing products for some of the UKs major retailers these include; Aldi, Lidl, Co-Op and Home Bargains

The Role

We are currently recruiting a driven HR Advisor to join our friendly HR team.

Reporting into the HR Director, you will be the main contact for both managers and employees across three sites. In the absence of the HR Director, you will provide additional support as and when needed.

Work closely with the HRD to continually improve internal practices to cover; Retention, wellbeing, performance management and succession planning

This is an exciting opportunity for someone relatively new in HR, looking for exposure and experience in a growing business.

Duties Include

  • Issuing HR related paperwork
  • Support managers with a vary of HR related meetings
  • Long Term Sickness Management
  • Turnover Statistics
  • Review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
  • Co-ordinate and assist high level recruitment
  • Run various HR Reports and relay to HRD
  • Involvement in Company Culture Values
  • Along with HR Director, assist with any day-to-day employee relation issues
  • Point of contact for Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Requests
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Assist HR Co-Ordinator and Administrator as and when needed

  • Understand the importance of Confidentiality
  • Strong decision-making abilities, drawing on experience, intuition, and knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport and trust at all levels.
  • Comfortable with shifting priorities, managing deadlines with ease.
  • Empathetic, with an awareness of the broader impact of decisions on others.

Other

  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or/and HR Responsibility for at least 12 months.
  • Full clean driving licence as travel between sites is essential.
