The 3rd Line / IT Manager Role:

  • Lead the 3rd line support team, providing expert guidance and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Lead projects such as, Office 365 Migrations
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft-based solutions, including Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server environments.
  • Manage and optimise IT infrastructure and ensure high availability and performance of services.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

3rd Line / IT Manager Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server.
  • Proven track record in a 3rd line support or IT management role within a Managed Service Provider environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
