Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting an IT Manager for our client in Telford, Shropshire . The role is a permanent role for an up and coming IT Manager.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday
40 hours per week
Pay
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience
Description and key responsibilities as an IT Manager:
- Lead and oversee IT teams
- Align IT initiatives
- Provide technical support
- Promote collaboration across locations
- Provide hands on support to company colleagues as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers
- Oversee contract negotiations
- Stay updated on technology trends to maintain company's competitiveness
- Occasional travel within Europe
Qualifications and skills required as an IT Manager:
- Proficiency in SQL databases, Windows servers, and Windows clients
- A minimum of 2-4 years' experience as an IT manager
- Ability to work independently and take the lead in the IT domain
- Strong organizational skills for managing business processes, contracts, and partnerships
- Willingness to provide "hands-on" support for operations and projects
- Fluent in English, both in writing and speech
