Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting an IT Manager for our client in Telford, Shropshire . The role is a permanent role for an up and coming IT Manager.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday

40 hours per week

Pay

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience

Description and key responsibilities as an IT Manager:

  • Lead and oversee IT teams
  • Align IT initiatives
  • Provide technical support
  • Promote collaboration across locations
  • Provide hands on support to company colleagues as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers
  • Oversee contract negotiations
  • Stay updated on technology trends to maintain company's competitiveness
  • Occasional travel within Europe

Qualifications and skills required as an IT Manager:

  • Proficiency in SQL databases, Windows servers, and Windows clients
  • A minimum of 2-4 years' experience as an IT manager
  • Ability to work independently and take the lead in the IT domain
  • Strong organizational skills for managing business processes, contracts, and partnerships
  • Willingness to provide "hands-on" support for operations and projects
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and speech
