You will be a robust Team Leader and Engineer with a strong complete toolbox including planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, a strong technical background & a history in a high volume, fast moving manufacturing process. Role:Maintenance Team Leader
Shift:3shift pattern (Mon-Fri)
Location: Telford
Salary: 53,867 per annum (inc shift allowance) + pension + benefits + overtime
The key responsibilities of theMaintenance Team Leader role will be:-
- Leading a team of circa half a dozen engineers
- Ensuring the maintenance schedule (CMs, CIs and PMs) is adhered to and reporting back on activities away from plan.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems such as CNC Machines, Furnaces, Robots.
- Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Applying 5S methodology in work area and wider factory
- To support internal customers with technical issues
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize equipment performance.
- Follow health and safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Provide support for installation and commissioning of new equipment.
