This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company within its field.Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities:As the Mechanical Fitter, you will play a critical role in the assembly and integration of precision measurement machines, jigs, and fixtures. Your key duties will include:
  • Mechanical assembly of high-precision measurement machines, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Collaborating with a team of skilled electro/mechanical engineers, fitters, and wiremen to assemble complete measurement machines from component level to finished product.
  • Ensuring that all assembled components meet the required geometric tolerances using first principal measurement techniques, such as DTI’s and Gauge Blocks.
Mechanical Fitter Key Skills:
  • Proficient in Bench fitting with the ability to make minor adjustments to mechanical components using lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
  • Competent in interpreting pneumatic schematics and assembling pneumatic systems.
  • Experienced in both Electrical & Mechanical fault finding.
  • Capable of reading and working from detailed general assembly engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in electrical panel wiring and reading Electrical/Electronic drawings.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on DC control systems.
