What You Will Do:
- Complete assembly, integration, and testing tasks for vehicles following manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings.
- Ensure vehicle systems, sub-systems, and Line Replaceable Units (LRU's) integrity through basic tests and fault finding.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to understand specifications and materials required for tasks.
- Complete technical reports and assist the Quality department as needed.
- Maintain compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Policy, and keep the working area efficient and safe.
- Support the Logistics team in the movement, delivery, and inspection of parts and consumables as required.
The role will be working a rotational shift pattern consisting of 6am/2pm/2pm-10pm offering a basic salary of £38,056 plus 20% shift allowance(£45667) with an excellent benefit package on offer. Â
What You Will Bring:
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
- Significant assembly experience within a mechanical engineering or production environment.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical specifications and drawings.
- A strong understanding of quality control within the production line.
- UK MOD 'SC' security clearance or eligibility to obtain sponsorship.
- Excellent communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong work ethic.
