**Mechanical Fitter required in Telford, Shropshire**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join a small but long-standing Engineering business in Telford, this would be a great fit for someone who is passionate about Engineering and has experience working with hydraulics and pipe bending, previous welding and fabrication experience would be highly advantageous.

This is working a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday (with a lunchtime finish on a Friday) and the role comes with an attractive hourly rate between £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (DOE), overtime is also available and is paid at T1/2 for any hours worked over 37.5 hours per week.

Previous experience with electrical fitting or panel wiring would be welcomed, but the company are prepared to put you through the electrical side of the business if you have a passion and willingness to learn.

**What You Will Do:**

• Utilise your expertise in mechanical assembly to construct and maintain complex machinery.
• Interpret technical drawings with precision to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Apply your knowledge of MMA, MIG, and TIG welding techniques to a variety of tasks.
• Demonstrate your experience with overhead cranes, enhancing the efficiency and safety of operations.
• Contribute to a culture of high-quality workmanship, focusing on attention to detail and excellence.
• Engage in a continuous learning environment, adapting to new technologies and methods within the engineering sector.

**What You Will Bring:**

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
• A solid understanding of hydraulics and pipe bending.
• Familiarity with overhead crane operation, welding, and fabrication techniques.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• A commitment to producing high-quality work and a keen eye for detail.
