Your new roleAs a Mechanical Fitter (or) Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Your duties will include:
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections
- Construction of mechanical or electrical systems and equipment for engineering drawings
- Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of mechanical or electrical equipment
- Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations worldwide.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in these roles, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Fitter
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
