They are seeking a dedicated Engineering Stores Coordinator to play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering team. This position involves efficiently managing and maintaining accurate stock levels of engineering parts and consumables, ensuring seamless operations within the business. As the Engineering Stores Coordinator, You will:

  • Take full responsibility for managing the engineering stores, maintaining accurate stock levels, and building effective supplier relationships to maximise value for the business
  • Assist the engineering team with processing and raising purchase orders for any purchasing needs for the department within effective timeframes
  • Ensure proper use of the stores management system by users to maintain effective stock control
  • Provide administrative support to ensure that shift schedules and external contractor resources are aligned with operational requirements for smooth changeovers

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a stock control or stores role, with responsibility for purchasing engineering parts and consumables
  • Comprehensive knowledge of stock control systems and related software
  • Expertise in managing the purchasing process, including order placement and supplier coordination
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong data management skills.
