We are seeking 2 experienced Production Paint Technicians on a permanent basis to join our prestigious growing national client in Halesfield , Telford .

Hours/ Days of work:

Rotational shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday

Pay:

14 per hour plus shift allowance of 12% - 15.68ph

As a Production Paint Technician working in a fast-paced environment duties will include:

Working as part of a team running the paint plant working to production deadlines

Control paint process inclusive of preparing surfaces for painting

Prepping parts for painting

Monitoring applications of a variety of industrial coatings

Assess conditions of internal and external plant coatings

Mixing and applying finishes , ensuring high quality at all times

Applying primers and other coating using appropriate methods and tools

Ensuring quality of work by conducting and recording inspections

Using both manual and automated paint methods along side hand and power tools

Loading and unloading of parts and components to and from spray line

Working to tight deadlines to meet the demands of the business whilst maintaining high quality

Working with a variety of paints from gloss to matt

Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems relating to paint

Read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Previous paint spraying or paint preparation within a engineering or manufacturing environment is essential along quality control or troubleshooting experience .
