Im working with a well-established, national manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a skilled Paint Technician to their Telford site. They are looking for an experience technician with powder coating experience to support with their production. You will be operating paint machines, supporting with the paint process, and ensuring products are completed to deadlines and to quality.

The Paint Technician will be responsible for:

Operating powder coating paint machines

Supporting with the full paint process

Preparing parts for painting

Ensuring parts are sprayed and finished correctly

Completing quality checks of products

Working as part of a team to hit KPIs

Assisting with training of new staff

Supporting the team leader with the day to day running of the paint plant

Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to

Skills and Experience

Previous experience with powder coating will be ESSENTIAL

Able to work to deadlines

Experience with SAP

Good attention to detail

This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Paint Technician / Powder Coating Technician / Powder Coater
