We are partnered with a reputable and forward-thinking law firm based in Telford, looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to take on the role of Head of Department at their new office.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a department from scratch, with full autonomy and support, making a significant impact on the firm’s development. The role is ideal for someone with supervisory or management experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

As Head of Department and an experienced Residential Property Lawyer, you would be responsible for:

• Managing a diverse caseload of Residential Property files, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
• Building and developing the Residential Property department, with a focus on business development and marketing
• Supervising and mentoring team members as the department expands
• Collaborating closely with senior Partners and leveraging support from administrative staff

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or CLC with over 5 years’ PQE within Residential Property
• Experience handling a range of Residential Conveyancing files, including dealing with high net worth clients
• Prior experience in supervising or managing team members would be ideal
