Join a dynamic and growing team at a leading automotive dealership. With a track record of excellence and customer satisfaction, the repair centre is seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team.
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Perform detailed and precise repair assessments to ensure accuracy across a range of vehicles
- Calculate precise / accurate repair costs, including identifying, pricing and justifying all necessary work to ensure comprehensive accounting
- Manage and plan your workload effectively to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs in line with forecasted schedules
- Identify and implement more efficient work practices and processes to improve productivity
- Maintain high standards of customer service by effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders including insurance companies and technicians
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and maintaining accurate job records using bodyshop management systems
- Oversee stock and parts management, ensuring that all necessary parts are correctly ordered and delivered on time to meet repair deadlines
- You will follow company and manufacturer guidelines
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / estimating experience
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of automotive repairs / techniques
- Knowledge of Audatex and E-Scribe
- Full UK driving license
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Contracted hour 42.5 hours per week
