Maintenance Engineer
Telford
Monday – Friday Days
Two days 8am – 6pm, two days 8am – 4pm and 8am -1pm Friday (41 hour week)

I am recruiting for a successful manufacturer in Telford who are looking to add two additional maintenance engineers on days, this role is completely PPM/facilities focused. Three days a week will be working on facilities i.e. fire alarms, Sockets, sprinkler systems etc. Two days a week will be getting involved in machine maintenance/PPM’s for example working with cylinders, pumps, conveyors, bearings and much more. This will suit a maintenance engineer (either bias) who is looking for a nice Monday – Friday role that doesn’t involve any nights! This is a perfect role for anyone looking to get away from the pressure of firefighting and working nights.
There is opportunity move on shift in future if this is a route you decide to take.

Benefits for the maintenance engineer:

  • Monday – Friday only
  • 1pm finish on a Friday
  • Good training available
  • Progression opportunities
  • Enhanced pension and holidays

Experience needed for the maintenance engineer:

  • 3 years + working as a mechanically biased or electrically biased  maintenance engineer or multi-skilled
  • Experience with facilities is ideal but would look at a maintenance engineer who has just worked on machinery
  • Any exposure to domestic work is advantageous
  • Must be mechanically competent
  • 18th ed. would be nice but not a deal breaker
