Maintenance Shift Engineer 

A leading fresh produce company based in Telford specializes in the production of high-quality.  Operating from a modern facility, the company focuses on efficient processing, sustainable practices, and strict quality standards to deliver fresh, convenient products to consumers. With lots of ongoing projects and an environment which is excellent to work in.

Join a dynamic Engineering Team, working 4 on 4 off, 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. You’ll report to the Site Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
  • Conduct asset criticality studies, FMECA, and CMMS tasks.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers and collaborate with OEMs for technical support.
  • Promote safety, hygiene, and 5S standards across the site.

What You Bring:

  • Strong experience with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to identify and solve equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and safety.
