Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? A prestigious opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing company, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. 

This role comes with an attractive salary up to £45,000 per annum and the working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (42 hours per week).

The hiring manager is looking for someone who is proficient in electrical fault finding 3 phase systems who can carry out mechanical repairs on conversion machinery 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide crucial engineering support, ensuring machinery breakdowns are swiftly addressed and maintenance is conducted to uphold manufacturing operations.
  • Drive project development from inception to completion, presenting solutions and progress to the team.
  • Support plant/process efficiency, safety, and product quality under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
  • Develop and maintain engineering workshop procedures and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers to achieve optimal solutions and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders, enhancing the scope of business operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience with PLC's - Siemens Type S5 and S7.
  • A solid background in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines, including experience with Eurotherm and Uni Drives.
  • Qualifications such as 17th Edition Electrical Installation, BTEC, or City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Competency in fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to use workshop machinery.
  • A self-motivated, solutions-led approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
