We are looking for a motivated Services Development Engineer to join a market leading food manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • A talented Engineer with a minimum of HND or degree in fluid dynamics, chemical or process engineering or equipment experience.
  • Someone who craves End-to-End Involvement - Experiencing the full lifecycle from initial concept to final delivery.
  • A problem solver with Passion and expertise in complex services, including but not limited to fluid cooling and transport, Compressed air and vacuum systems.
  • A strong leader and influencer who can achieve through others who is excited by learning new techniques & technology.
  • Developing subject matter expertise in Magna's complex services.
  • Providing technical leadership and expertise in a professional manner to drive improvements and new developments.
  • Actively contributing to & supporting lead development engineers in continuous improvement to drive sustainability, noise reduction and energy efficiency.
  • Delivering high impact change - be involved in multiple projects that will enhance improvements in technology.
  • Taking ownership of your work to agreed deadlines with internal stakeholders and management of contractors including selection of service contracts to ensure excellence.
  • Total ownership of service aspects from chilling, compressed air, hot & ambient water systems, utilities and CHP plants, Fire suppression and security systems.
