Linsco are currently recruiting for an assistant site manager to start work for a reputable client of ours in the Telford area.

You will be required to manage and coordinate all aspects of construction on our housing projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out according to the project schedule.
  • Supervise and monitor the activities of subcontractors and site workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure it meets the project's quality standards and complies with design specifications.
  • Report any defects or issues to the Site Manager and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials on site, ensuring that resources are available when needed and stored safely.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth work flow and resolve any on-site issues.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the Site Manager, providing regular updates on site progress and any concerns.
