We are excited to offer an opportunity to join a global engineering business as an Internal Sales and Social Media Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive, positive attitude and a flexible approach to teamwork, ready to contribute across various functions to drive success.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, ensuring effective communication and action as required.
  • Plan, administer, and update social media posts to engage audiences and enhance brand visibility.
  • Generate and distribute informational and advertising email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with technical sales teams to create new images and videos for marketing purposes.
  • Regularly update the website with blog posts, new images, and other content.
  • Produce monthly quotes and sales statistics, highlighting open quotes for follow-up.
  • Input data related to quotes and sales orders into our SAP system, and manage sales and purchase processing.
  • Create formatted quotes for the sales team using Word.
  • Reactivate and engage inactive contacts.
  • Develop new sales opportunities by building relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Welcome and host visitors, providing refreshments and a friendly reception.
  • Identify and capitalise on upselling opportunities.
  • Provide support for exhibitions and other company events.
  • Assist in other areas of the company as needed to support overall business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and SAP systems.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in sales, particularly within an engineering or technical field, is advantageous.
