About the Role

You will study towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification while gaining experience working on varied tasks and projects across the site.

This Technical Operator Apprentice role will involve working a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 6am - 6pm.



Key Responsibilities

  • Help investigate, analyse and drive continuous improvement across the production environment.
  • Define and assist in collating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, Centreline, Process Fault Trees, and Downtime recording, focusing on Symptom - Cause - Remedy.
  • Support with daily/weekly machine autonomous maintenance checks/shift inspectors and highlight any defects immediately via the work request system.
  • Competently operate production machinery across the site.


Work on Site-Wide Projects

  • Existing equipment efficiency process improvement
  • Continuous improvement of efficiency, cost, and material usage
  • Working with the management team to drive the work process adoption and improvement plans
