We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a warehouse environment. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that products meet our high-quality standards. This position requires proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, making it essential for candidates to have a solid understanding of assembly processes.

Working Hours

AM - Monday to Friday 6am-2pm

PM - Monday to Thursday 2pm - 12am

Overtime paid at X1.5

Duties

  • Assemble various components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Fault finding and rectification
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise assembly processes and improve productivity.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

  • Proven mechanical knowledge is essential for this role, with experience in a engineering or manufacturing environment being highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools is required for effective assembly tasks.
  • Level 3 in mechanical/manufacturing/engineering disciplines (or equivalant)
  • Previous experience in an assembly technician role or similar position will be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately are critical for success in this role.
