Mobile Fitter

MOBILE FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Mobile Fitter to join a well established vehicle conversion manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

This role will involve you being out on the road and carrying on mechanical repairs on vehicles at various customer locations across the UK, so it is ESSENTIAL that you hold a Full UK Driving License.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is between £13.00 - £13.50 per hour (annual salary around £30K), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period.

This role would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Mechanic, Mobile Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician who has a passion for working with vehicles and is happy working on the road.

What You Will Do:

• Measure, cut down, and install components into vehicles, showcasing your precision and attention to detail.
• Work from and understand technical drawings, translating them into reality with your skills.
• Use hand and power tools daily, including spanners and drills, becoming an indispensable part of the manufacturing process.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Complete supporting paperwork, demonstrating your ability to follow through and maintain high standards of quality.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment, ready to hit the ground running.
• Proficiency with using hand and power tools, bringing your expertise to the forefront.
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings, turning plans into reality.
• A background in Assembly, Manufacturing, or Mechanics, making you a perfect fit for this role.
• A passion for working with vehicles, whether from previous work experience or as a personal interest, is highly regarded.
