HR Business Partner

Telford

Temporary / 4-6 weeks initially

Pay Rate depending on experience

Monday-Friday / 8:30am-5:00pm

Prince Personnel are working in partnership with a Telford based manufacturing company who are looking for a temporary HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor to provide cover for a period of 4-6 weeks initially, starting around Monday 28th October ideally. There is the possibility of some hybrid working once you are confident and familiar with the system and processes but you will need to be able to get to the site in Telford as required. This will be a generalist HR role working in a HR department which normally consists of the HR Manager and two HR Advisors. We are looking for someone who is confident and can hit the ground running with the support of the others in the HR team.

Responsibilities and duties may include, but not limited to:

Discussing business strategies, HR challenges and HR plans that can help the business with senior management and key stakeholders

Working with management in their business area to make sure employees have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives

Analysing human resource metrics and comparing results to key performance indicators

Assisting with planning for recruitment, training, restructuring and succession and helping relevant staff implement them

Coaching Line Managers on ways to motivate their employees and lead more effectively

Guiding management on employee relations and performance management

Offering recruitment assistance to the company

Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures

Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company

Skills and Experience:

To be considered for the role you must have previous experience working in a similar role such as a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or HR Officer

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing company environment

Highly organised and knowledgeable on HR practices and employment law

Energetic individual who has an eye for detail

You must be a strong communicator and a real team player

IT literate including MS Office

Available to start on or around 28th October
