We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our expanding client in the Telford area. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for using various tools and techniques to fabricate and assemble plastic components. This is a role ideal for someone looking for an new opportunity and to learn multiple skill sets in a bespoke industry
Job Role
- Fabricate and assemble plastic parts according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and bend plastic materials
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience as a plastic Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in stick welding and other welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in fabrication
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
The package
- Negotiable pay rate starting at 12 but this can be discussed.
- 12 week temporary to permanent role
- Standard working week is 40 hours but there is an opportunity to work more.
- Opportunity to learn a niche skill set within bespoke industry.
