Your new companyHays are working with a dynamic business who are looking for a Part time Management Accountant to join their team on a part time basis and are flexible around these hoursYour new role
- Preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly and annual consolidated management accounts and financial reports
- Lead preparation for the company annual audit
- Key contributor to finance project supporting the Director
- Take responsibility for ensuring the financial processes, systems and controls are operating correctly
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- Provide variance analysis and commentary to budgets/forecasts vs actuals
- Monitoring of company long term cash flowrequirements
- Review of group credit control and aged debtors
- Review of VAT returns for submission
- Review of prepayments / accruals / general journals
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to department Managers on performance status
- Monitoring and management of foreign exchangeWhat you'll need to succeed
