Secondary Cover Supervisor

ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Telford and surrounding areas This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to gain valuable experience in education while making a real impact in local schools.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Provide support and guidance to students, maintaining high standards of engagement.
• Work flexibly across different schools as required.

To be considered for the role of Experienced cover supervisor you will:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
• A degree or relevant qualifications in education (desirable but not essential).
• A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Availability for full-time or part-time work, depending on your preference.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role in a secondary school setting.
