We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our clients Business Development team. With highly demonstrable commercial acumen, and analytical skills, you will be a leading player in the design, development and iteration of the companies business strategy and mid-term strategy relating to graphic communications. With strong skills in organisation and planning, you will be recognised as a key driver of business management for achieve company goals and objectives. This exciting opportunity is offered on a full-time permanent position.

This innovative and globally renowned company are market leaders in digital solutions. The company focus on bringing people, technology and processes together for business transformation. We are seeking a proactive individual to join in this key role within the Business Development function. There will be a number of responsibilities within this role, including Business Development, analysing Commercial Strategy and Project Management too. Business areas will include commercial printing, industrial printing and additive manufacturing.

The role

You will be leading and facilitating workshops to define strategic plans. You facilitate and be a key contributor to the creation of key initiatives. Covering multiple time horizons to meet both long term and short term objectives. Monitor the business achievements, reporting the achievement of the mid term strategy to the senior leadership team. Intervening and taking action as required in areas of underachievement or risk. Lead project groups and activities as required to design the optimum physical and financial routing for new lines of business and negotiate the successful implementation into operational business.

Overseeing the reporting understanding and interpretation of the company business plan results and financial results to the Senior Leadership team and wider corporate group stakeholders. Making recommendations and intervene in areas of under achievement of risk to ensure the Business Plan can be realised. Ensure data integrity and clarity of business information in financial reporting, analysis and visualisation by each business unite in scope to meet stakeholder expectations and facilitate improved decision making.

Identify, development and maintain relationships with key stakeholders related to the business. Inform strategic planning and business design, regularly scan competitor activity and the market horizon for industry developments and changes which could present opportunity or risk to the overall success/ outcome.

The person

With a broad mindset, you will have the ability to view the big picture as well as taking direct action against individual issues, projects or objectives. You must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail with a proven ability in negotiation and analysis. You must be able to work with significant initiative , be able to self-manage and priotise. The ability to demonstrate excellent discretion is also key to the success of this role. The development of strategic models and plans is also something you will have experience in. You must be resilient as the role involves managing and developing work in uncertain/ volatile environments.

This role offers a competitive salary between 45,000 and 51,000 and includes generous benefits which include profit related bonus, executive medical and private health cover. The role will be a hybrid model of working. As such, its important that candidates live a commutable distance from their impressive facility in Telford.
