About the Role:

Excell Supply is currently recruiting enthusiasticTeaching Assistantsto work in schools across Telford. Youll provide support in the classroom, helping students achieve their best academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in creating an engaging learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help
  • Helping with behaviour management to ensure a positive learning atmosphere
  • Assisting children with their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil well-being

What Were Looking For:

  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, reliability, and flexibility
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential
  • A Level 1, 2, or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not required)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Right to work in the UK
