QUALITY CONTROLLER NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire, the working hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 3.30pm finish Friday (39 hours per week) and it comes with a starting pay rate of £12.29 per hour.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has previous Quality Controlling experience gained from within the manufacturing sector, candidates from an Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics or General Manufacturing background would be well received.

This role would be an ideal fit for someone who has final inspection, visual inspection or quality inspection experience and has used measuring equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct final inspection of manufactured components, ensuring they meet technical drawings and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve quality issues in collaboration with the manufacturing department.
  • Ensure all components adhere to customer specifications before dispatch.
  • Provide valuable feedback on product quality issues to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of data and correspondence for management review.
  • Work closely within a dedicated quality team to uphold the highest standards of product excellence.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Inspector role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A qualification or relevant experience in a technical or engineering discipline is advantageous.
