7:30am-7:30pm

Team Leader Opportunity in Telford

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our production team in Telford. This role requires working a set shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of General and Machine Operators on a packing line.
  • Ensure operators meet defined performance and behavior standards.
  • Measure and record line performance, taking necessary actions.
  • Organize and complete product changeovers within planned times.
  • Support the Supervisor in achieving shift KPIs and promptly escalate issues.
  • Accurately complete all quality control documentation.
  • Apply Continuous Improvement techniques, such as 5 Whys, to problem-solving.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Food Safety Regulations, quality, housekeeping, and safety systems.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.

  • Responsible attitude, professional, and positive.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Confident in speaking to and challenging the team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a food-based manufacturing environment is advantageous.
