This global business is seeking a Group Programme and Delivery Director to support them on their expansion mission. The business is known for their rapid growth through considerate acquisitions, multiplying their operations and profits at pace. This is an exciting opportunity to mould the role into your own and grow with the business, at speed!The international business has various pillar within this around the circular economy, supporting waste reduction and optimisation across businesses.You will be supporting with new expansions and current operations to ensure the projects and transformation programmes are being delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Working within the senior leadership team to bridge the gap of delivery and governance.Leading a small team, you will have the chance to be close to the action and work closely alongside the CIO to support with status updates, reporting, and project-based work. You will be comfortable in breaking down and reprioritising the 3-year roadmap for the business with their technology aims as you work through the programme deliverables.You may have come from a business facing background but have strong understanding of technical teams, or come from a technical background and having strong commercial acumen  About you, the Group Programme and Delivery Director:
  • You will be flexible and happy to travel on an ad hoc basis including abroad overnight stays
  • Experience working at Group level in a complex organisation set-up (desirable)
  • Exposure working within a global organisation, particularly managing overseas team members
  • Strong programme delivery experience, working closely with Projects/PMO functions to adhere to governance
  • Adaptable and ready to take on the challenge with a rapid-growing fast-paced organisation who are on a mission!
About the role:
  • Permanent position
  • Midlands based with travel to London, Europe and USA.
  • Base salary £100,000 + package, including car allowance, pension, holidays.
