About the Role:

In this role, you will be pivotal in managing commodities, both during production and through the various stages of New Product Development. You will take ownership of procurement strategies, compliance, and sustainable practices while ensuring cost targets are met and quality is uncompromised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies, ensuring competitiveness in a heavily regulated industry. Balancing cost, sustainability and environmental responsibilities, whilst maintaining quality in a world class manufacturing setting.
  • Support New Projects: Source parts for new products, ensuring readiness for production cycle.
  • Supplier Management: Build strong supplier partnerships, conduct performance reviews, and foster innovation.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion process improvements and introduce eProcurement initiatives to streamline operations.

Essential Skills: Strong numerical analysis, proficiency in Excel, and a genuine enthusiasm for purchasing.

Experience: While previous manufacturing experience is a plus, what matters most is a proactive attitude and a drive to make a difference.
