Exciting Opportunity: Junior Buyer

What You Will Do:
- Liaise with the Purchasing team, Management, and Engineering on Purchasing issues, contributing to the strategic vision and targets.
- Analyse quotations, conduct comparison reporting, and manage general Purchase administration including documentation processing.
- Generate RFQ's, select vendors, and facilitate contract negotiations, ensuring business requirements are met comprehensively.
- Lead cost reduction activities, track savings projects, and report on forecasts and actuals effectively.
- Perform basic financial computations and assist in completing all Purchasing tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Promote the company's HSE policies across the department, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
What You Will Bring:
- Essential knowledge of SAP and a good basic standard of education in literacy and numeracy.
- CIPS qualification or the willingness to study towards completing it.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages, with proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing.
- A keen understanding of cost breakdown analysis and the ability to compare quotes effectively.
- Relevant commercial experience within a fast-paced working environment, showcasing strong analytical and attention to detail skills.

Location:
This position is based in the UK, offering a fantastic work-life balance with operational hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 - 5:00, and an early finish on Fridays at 2pm.
