Your new companyHays are working with a well-renowned manufacturing company who are looking for a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a busy and varied role which includes management of the MRP, actioning order requirements and responding to internal requisitions. This is an excellent opportunity working with a very friendly team.Your new roleAs a Purchasing Administrator, your role will involve:
- Raising Purchase Orders.
- Processing Requisitions.
- Processing queries in conjunction with the Quality Department.
- Maintaining data in Sage, including data inputting and amendments as and when required.
- Ensure the best purchase prices for goods and services are achieved and maintained at all times.
- General administration / Filing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience of 2+ years in a procurement or purchasing role
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills
