a Senior Buyer to their high-performing Supply Chain team.

In this key role, youll work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end procurement across goods, materials, and services, all while championing the companys forward-thinking sustainability goals.

The Role:

  • Lead the procurement of all direct and indirect commodities, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Maintain optimal stock levels aligned with company goals to support efficient production
  • Oversee key contracted services to siteincluding waste management, energy, and facilitiesensuring value and reliability
  • Translate demand forecasts into actionable plans to keep supply aligned with business needs
  • Own the full supplier lifecycle, from sourcing and tenders to development and ongoing performance management
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring alignment with commercial and strategic objectives
  • Make the most of the supplier portal to streamline processes and improve visibility
  • Play a key role in ERP implementation and maximise system usage for procurement efficiency
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking and continuous improvement
  • Mentor more inexperienced team members driving performance and professional growth

The person:

  • Proven track record in Purchasing, Procurement, and Supply Chain within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experienced in both direct and indirect procurement categories with strategic oversight
  • Confident working with global suppliers and international partners to drive seamless collaboration
  • In-depth understanding of procurement processes, with the ability to influence and shape long-term strategy
  • Background in senior roles such as Senior Buyer, or Purchasing Supervisor
  • Experienced in using supplier portal systems to streamline and enhance procurement operations
  • Proficient in ERP systems and a power user of MS Excel for data-driven decision-making
