Duration: 6 months
Location: Telford, with an expectation of 2 full days per week in the office

The Delivery Manager is responsible for:
- MU SME for Delivery Tooling (e-Monitoring); acting as a key liaison with Group for intercepting new releases, and building the knowledge, capability and expertise across the Client MU (market unit)
- Working closely with the OneFinance programme, firmly establishing toolsets with the Cross-Contract view, providing assurance of both compliant and relevant use
- To support financial reporting in Delivery Assurance
- Management of work requests received from the wider MU; utilising the expertise from with DA to provide responses that are fulfil stakeholder needs and are aligned to the strategic vision of automation and efficiency savings
Required skills:
- The confidence to challenge the as is and work with the teams without guidance.
- Self-driven and motivated, be involved in the delivery of, or take ownership of, internal products and improvement initiatives.
- Good communication and stakeholder management; this role will work closely with the DA Leadership Team and also into other key MU functions
- A pragmatic approach to Agility. The team's ways of working don't always truly reflect Agile frameworks, you will need to observe, understand, and support the team by adapting your agile the skills, experience, and techniques.

Delivery Assurance (DA) is accountable and responsible for the governance of the delivery operating-model of the client MU as stated in the Delivery Governance Policy, held on the Business Management Framework (BMF). DA is the custodian of delivery tools and standards for the client Market Unit (MU) and leads on how the MU intercepts other tools and processes from Group. The function works across the MU to assure and analyse the delivery performance across contracts and engagements, specifically to:
- Identify client MU cross-cutting delivery and commercial risks
- Support Continuous Improvement (CI) by propagating best practice across all areas thereby improving consistency and predictability
- Produce MI for MU management and Group
- Review deliverability of new bids.
The core DA assurance activities ie e-Monitoring Weekly Assessment Reviews (WAR), Delivery Assurance Reviews (DAR) and Continuous Improvement (CI) support the DA delivery streams. The streams are as follows:
- Contract: this stream is focussed on delivering against the contractual obligations where these cut across multiple engagements.
- Project: this stream is focussed on project engagements, these may vary from small projects, to large programmes and or portfolio.
- Service: this stream is focussed on service engagements and their SLAs eg focussing on incident and problem management.
- Architecture: this stream is focussed on architecture and engineering processes.
- Delivery Governance: this stream focusses on ensuring that the BMF, DMF etc reflect Group Policy and or best practice. The stream co-ordinates with the MU and Group audit teams.
- Operations & Reporting (O&R): primarily in place to produce MI for MU and Group management, the O&R team also provide information to support the DA assurance activities as well as maintaining a set of products.
